The Department of Accounting has several scholarships available to both undergraduate and graduate students.
Endowed Scholarships
An endowed scholarship is a major gift to Georgia College & State University that is used to fund scholarships over multiple years. Students must use the Georgia College Scholarship Application For Returning Students to apply for these scholarships. This application is accessed through My GCSU. The Application closes mid-February.

Undergraduate Accounting majors. First preference is given to students from Washington County
Annual Scholarships
An annual scholarship is a one-time gift to Georgia College that funds a single scholarship. Several generous public accounting firms fund annual scholarship. The number of scholarships varies and the requirements for each are dictated by the donor. Students must use the Annual Scholarship and Professional Development Award Combined Application to apply for this year's Annual Scholarships. The Combined Application is available from the Accounting Department.
Professional Development Awards
A Professional Development Award is funded by the Accounting Department to assist accounting students with career preparation. Several Awards of $250 and $500 are made each spring. Acceptable uses of these awards include, but are not limited to, CPA Exam review materials, CPA exam registration fees, professional attire, participation in study abroad travel, and conference attendance. Students must use the Annual Scholarship and Professional Development Award Combined Application to apply for this year's Annual Scholarships. The Combined Application is available from the Accounting Department.
